The MCC USB-202 and USB-205 are low-cost, 12-bit, multifunction DAQ devices designed for general purpose data acquisition applications. Each device features eight SE analog voltage inputs, two analog outputs, eight digital I/O, and one counter input.

USB-202 features a 100 kS/s sample rate.

USB-205 features a 500 kS/s sample rate.

Software support includes DAQami, an optional out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages including Visual C++®, Visual C#®, Visual Basic®.NET, DASYLab®, LabVIEW, MATLAB®, Linux®, and Python.

OEM, board-only versions of the USB-202 and USB-1205 with header connectors instead of screw terminals are available and can be ordered directly from MCC.

DAQami is an out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. DAQami is ideal for interactive testing, data logging, and developing applications that run for minutes or days.

Download and install DAQami and try the fully-functional software for 30 days. After 30 days, all features except for data logging and data export will continue to be available. Data logging and data export features can be unlocked by purchasing the software.

    rock solid easy to use quality DAQ

    This is my go to DAQ. Very good functionality for a great price. I've replaced several other DAQ's with this one. This is very easy to program and has a nice mix of I/O. I have four of these in one test fixture that gets daily use and has been in operation for a couple of years.

    We purchased this product as the analog front end for an automated calibration system. The C# libraries were very easy to integrate into our existing application. Everything just worked. I've very pleased with this product overall.

    DAQ which cannot do differential measurements is of little value to me

    Classroom use only. It was my fault that I missed the fact that this widget CANNOT do differential measurements. I have not even used this thing other than setting up the DAQ interface via mccdaq & labview. I'll be pursuing an exchange for something similar, BUT WITH AT LEAST 4CH DIFFERENTIAL analog inputs.

    Great value; easy to use

    Great DAQ for the price. Easy to program. Easy to use. Product improvement ideas: 1) extend the label on the top of the package down the sides to make it easier to match the screw terminals to their functions. Either that or add two more side labels or hot stamp the package with vertical lines. 2) add port read and write capability even when some pins are configured as in and others as out. As it is, you can configure all 8 as in or out and read or write all 8 OR you can define a mix of in and out but are then forced to read and write each pin individually.
