Recently, the readers of DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK Magazine named the Top Innovators of 2017 across eight “special innovation” categories. Around 1,600 readers contributed to the online voting to choose the winners before a beautiful celebratory ceremony at the Seehaus amidst the English Garden in Munich, Germany. Among the nominees were big name companies representing technology innovations in categories that included digital and analog technology, chip production, measuring technology, and more. Within each of these categories, readers were asked to choose between 6 to 12 companies to secure the final 24 winners of the prestigious event. As one of the 10 candidates named for Innovator of the Year in the “Measurement and Sensor Technology” category, we are pleased to announce that Digilent’s very own Zybo Z7 was chosen as a winner!
