Simon says read this post! It is, after all, a post about how to make a basic Simon-says game on an FPGA. This tutorial by Instructables user Broese gives a step-by-step guide to making your own.
You’ll need an FPGA (perhaps the Nexys 4?). Additionally, you’ll need a breadboard, LEDs, and wires. As far as software goes, make sure you have Digilent Adept.
After getting all of your materials together, it’s time to construct your modules and LED display. Map all inputs and outputs to ports. Some of the code is included in the Instructable! Now it’s time to enjoy the game!
