Adding Knobs To The Analog Discovery 2

One tidbit of feedback that we have received with relative frequency, is that while users appreciate the capabilities of the Analog Discovery 2, many miss the good old fashioned feeling and control of using physical knobs with their instrumentation. So to combat this, we explored the possibility of adding some using the Pmod ENC and LabVIEW. The final result is pictured below:

This project is courtesy of Austin, and it utilizes the Analog Scope and WaveGen functionalities of the Analog Discovery 2 through LabVIEW. This will allow you control the sample rate, base, range, and offset of both of your scopes.

The goal of this project is to make the use of the Analog Discovery 2 even easier and more accessible than before. By adding a physical component, not only can you get that nostalgic feel back, but you can also exercise more control over the instrumentation.
