One of the most rewarding parts of my role is listening to educators and turning their feedback into solutions that make a real difference in the classroom. Today, I’m excited to share something we’ve been working on for months: the official launch of the Analog Discovery Studio Max (ADS Max) Ecosystem.
Why We Built This Ecosystem
When I talk to professors, I often hear the same challenge:
“I want my students to focus on learning, and the teacher on the key concepts—not on troubleshooting cables and sourcing parts for most of the lab time.”
That insight shaped every decision behind ADS Max. Enhancing the engineering experience drives NI and is embedded into every detail of the Digilent ADS Max platform. We wanted a solution that combines flexibility, industry relevance, and simplicity—without sacrificing depth.
With ADS Max, you get 14 instruments in one device, a single power cord, and a footprint that fits any lab bench. But the real step-up happens when you pair ADS Max with our new Canvas Boards and sensor bundles, designed to make hands-on learning structured, efficient, and engaging.

- Emona Instruments – Their Canvas boards for Fiber Optics, Signals & Systems, and Wireless Communications make advanced topics approachable through structured experiments and real-world signal analysis.
- iWorx Systems – A leader in physiology and chemistry education, iWorx brings Biomedical and Chemistry Sensor Bundles that integrate seamlessly with ADS Max and LabScribe ADS software, enabling students to explore biosignals, cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, and chemical analysis—all on one platform.
