Measurement Computing Corporation (MCC) and Data Translation (DT) DAQ products are now part of the Digilent family of test and measurement solutions. MCC and DT are leading suppliers of data acquisition solutions that are easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate, and easy-to-support.

The USB-DIO24 Series of digital devices provide logic-level, bidirectional digital I/O and counter operation. Both devices feature 24 bits of digital I/O and one 32-bit external event counter. The devices are powered by the +5 volt USB supply. All I/O connections are made to a 37-pin connector.

Software support includes DAQami, an out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages including Visual C++^®, Visual C#^®, Visual Basic^®.NET, DASYLab^®, LabVIEW^™, Linux^®, and Python^™.

The 37-pin connector provides 24 digital I/O, one counter, six ground, and two power connections.
The digital I/O port is configured as two 8-bit and two 4-bit ports based on an 82C55 mode 0 emulation. You
can configure each port independently for input (default) or output.
The CTR signal is the input to the 32-bit external event counter.
