The Pmod RTCC is a real-time clock/calendar powered by the Microchip® MCP79410. Through the I2C interface, users may configure up to two alarms that can be triggered at a wide variety of possible times.

    I wrote a VHDL module for setting and reading the time and date in this persistent time-keeping device. And I even created a course showing how to do it.

    Battery not working

    When I turn off the device that supplies power to the rtc clock, the module does not continue saving the date, but instead pauses on the date it was turned off. The battery works and we have used enableVbat(), but we do not find the problem
