Measurement Computing Corporation (MCC) and Data Translation (DT) DAQ products are now part of the Digilent family of test and measurement solutions. MCC and DT are leading suppliers of data acquisition solutions that are easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate, and easy-to-support.

The MCC USB-200 series are low-cost, 12-bit, multifunction DAQ devices designed for general purpose data acquisition applications. Each device features eight SE analog voltage inputs, two analog outputs, eight digital I/O, and one counter input.

  • USB-201 features a 100 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
    • Please note: the USB-201 is retired and no longer for sale in our store. Please consider the USB-202 as a possible replacement.
  • USB-202 features a 100 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
  • USB-205 features a 500 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
  • USB-201-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 100 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.
  • USB-204-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 500 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.
  • USB-205-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 500 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.

Software support includes DAQami, an out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages including Visual C++®, Visual C#®, Visual Basic®.NET, DASYLab®, LabVIEW™, MATLAB®, Linux®, and Python™.

    This product is ideal for small DAQ projects, and comes with plenty of supporting documentation and software. Overall very easy to get going quickly.

    Excellent product for the price--was used to collect data for a very cost sensitive experiment. The programmer had game programming experience but no prior data acq experience. He was able to use the sample programs and got up to speed quickly, eventually writing his own application that called the supplied software and plotted the test results.

    Delivered great value and ease of use

    The product performed as specified. The included software made it easy to check out it's operation and was of some use for general testing. Example software and drivers made quick work of writing application specific programs.

    Very functional/intuitive for a person new to data collection

    I used an mccdaq for the first time this year, and am pretty new to data collection and the like. It was very intuitive and easy to use, and is fairly accurate. I would recommend product to others.

    Documentation was very thorough for incorporating in a larger system design. LabVIEW libraries easy and intuitive to use. Very good value OEM DAQ board.

    A lot of capability for little money

    I have used a number of MCCDAQ devices using the universal library. The more I use them the more I like them. I like the USB-201 for simple applications. It enables a lot of functionality at such a low cost. Great product. The customer service is also great. They've helped my get going on programming with the universal library as well as hardware setup.

    This little acquisition system puts all other compareable systems to shame. I am using three to provide an elaborate monitoring system utilizing two monitors and data comparisons at a very economical value. I recommend this product to everyone serious about acquiring data, storing data and displaying data. Harvey Harrison

    Great value for a product with basic functions!

    It does exactly what the datasheet says it will and does it reliably with little fuss. The software support is excellent as is the technical support. Anyone with a basic understanding of how data is collected will have this unit up and running in less than an hour with the included software. A proficient programmer can use the included libraries to create custom applications quickly and easily.
