Measurement Computing Corporation (MCC) and Data Translation (DT) DAQ products are now part of the Digilent family of test and measurement solutions. MCC and DT are leading suppliers of data acquisition solutions that are easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate, and easy-to-support.

The MCC USB-200 series are low-cost, 12-bit, multifunction DAQ devices designed for general purpose data acquisition applications. Each device features eight SE analog voltage inputs, two analog outputs, eight digital I/O, and one counter input.

  • USB-201 features a 100 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
    • Please note: the USB-201 is retired and no longer for sale in our store. Please consider the USB-202 as a possible replacement.
  • USB-202 features a 100 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
  • USB-205 features a 500 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input.
  • USB-201-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 100 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.
  • USB-204-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 500 kS/s sample rate, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.
  • USB-205-OEM: DAQ device with 8 SE analog inputs, 12-bit resolution, 500 kS/s sample rate, 2 analog outputs, 8 digital I/O, and 1 counter input. OEM version removes enclosure and screw terminals and adds headers.

Software support includes DAQami, an out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages including Visual C++®, Visual C#®, Visual Basic®.NET, DASYLab®, LabVIEW™, MATLAB®, Linux®, and Python™.

    I absolutely reccomend this product. I was on site late at night and downloaded the software for my data logger. I was unable to get it to work (entirely my fault). When i contacted MC tech support early in the morning they were able to diagnose my problem, and talk me through a solution. I was up and logging withing 15 minutes. MC's tech support was very helpfull, and their products perform as advertised, if not a little better.

    Nice DAQ but not easy to get the data out into a useful format.

    This worked great out of the box but when it comes to getting the data out of the box (digitally) into a useful format it is not very friendly unless you buy one of the high $$ apps. Tech support was very helpful.

    Product very easy to use

    We purchased 5 of these devices. we are bringing in a 0-5 V instument reading and through a conversion factor we are able to collect the appropriate amount of data needed during out experiments. very easy to use,install, and maintain.

    May be good for more experienced users, but not me. Gave it a go, but too difficult to initially set up. My customer sat there with me and couldn't understand it either. He is choosing another route. Too bad; there could have been multiple sales.

    A straightforward DAQ

    I found a relatively short ramp up to get it running for our system once I got my head back into VB.net after being away for a while. Could use more mounting options. Velcro for now.

    The QC department recently received one of these pieces and has been absolutely astounded by the reliability and quality delivered. It was easy to set up and easy to use, absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking a high quality Data Acquisition!
