small easy to use and powerful DAQ

Posted by monotone on 27th Aug 2013

I have used this DAQ for the past 6 years approximately for a lot of R&D testing at my company. This is the DAQ i take with me to do remote pulldown tests. I like it because it is very flexible with lots of settings and it is very portable. The software is pretty good that comes with it. I would recommend this to anyone needing a small portable datalogger.

Inexpensive, accurate but not bullet proof

We have a dozen of these in use. Generally they work well, we have had issues with static discharge causing the units to fail in one application.

Easy to use and does the job

Posted by Trev on 27th Aug 2013

We used for temperature testing of one of our electronic enclosures. Was simple to set up and reported useful and accurate data.

    Good hardware, GREAT software!

Posted by RandDTech on 27th Aug 2013

There are cheaper DAQ modules out there, but this is a great value for the software the comes with it. TracerDaq is easy to use and produces a complete dataset that makes an engineer smile.

    Excellent ROI

Posted by deblank on 3rd Aug 2013

This DAQ device takes our testing to the 21st century. We are able to monitor both RF (via Detector) levels and temp. as temperature changes. The only issue we have is Noise on the lines at times. this is usually a setup issue. The data is easily ported to Excel or other Graphing software.

Gets the job done as advertised.

Would love it if MC offered ruggedized versions of their products. However, these temp DAQs are by far the best quality you can get at the lowest cost.

It would be perfect if it came with the full software version.

A great thermocouple based temperature aquisition system. If you use it extensively with TracerDAQ plan on purchasing the full software version.

All Engineering staff must have this basic one

Posted by Swami on 31st Jul 2013

perfect for temp. measurements, turned to this after spending huge amount on Omega Thermocouples . All you need is Type T or K TC wires . Great product that entry level person can handle the job.
