The USB-TC was easy to set up and use for an amateur like myself.

    Excellent Temperature DAQ Device

    Posted by ed007 on 18th Nov 2014

We bought USB-TC card to add temperature capture and logging functionality to one of our automated test systems. It was as easy as it gets: install the driver and the LabVIEW libraries and use the ULx functions in LabVIEW to program the device without any extra configurations or hassle. I highly recommend this device to anybody who wishes to add temperature logging functionality to their test systems.

MC said they would sell me a box that would measure temperatures using thermocouples of any type at 2Hz with seamless integration with LabVIEW - and they did just that. The MC USB-TC also has some Digital IOs that I use to control heater coils. Awesome freebee. On top of it, The hardware is well made, easy to use, rugged, and priced right.

    Great DAQ

    Posted by Nemesis135 on 30th Jul 2014

We had a complicated project where we were running two USB-TC's worth of thermocouples. The boards worked flawlessly. They are so easy to use: connect the thermocouples, run Instacal, then run TracerDAQ and you're up and running. There is nothing complicated about it!

    Useful for basic data aquisition

Posted by PropGurl on 25th Mar 2014

So far it's been exactly what I needed. I have implemented LabVIEW with the DAQ for measuring temp with thermocouples and have had no problems. I'm using this for a school project in which we are investigating cooling port patterns in turbine blades for cooling effectiveness. The 8 channels make it very versatile so that multiple temps can be monitored at once. It's very easy to set up and use!

    Easy to install and use

Posted by Sunnyflower on 19th Mar 2014

Good quality, easy to use, but price is high. But all the ports have to share an interface. Cannot stop or start separately. Port 0 and other ports and diffrent, only port 0 is calibrated, the temperature reading from other ports are diffrent from port 0.

    Simple temperature acquisition and logging

Posted by MikeD on 25th Feb 2014

I have two of these USB-TC devices working in separate systems where they are used to monitor and correlate temperature profiles of multiple samples with the light scattering signature of therapeutic protein samples. The devices is as simple as plugging it in and starting to record data with TracerDaq but the provide programming libraries and examples make it simple to build your own custom data logging and analysis software.

This product is easy to use!

Posted by sgottner on 24th Feb 2014

The 8 channel thermocouple DAQ device is very easy to use. I like that the DAQ can be used with a wide variety of thermocouple types. I perform Thermal analysis on all Illumitex engineering prototype LED fixtures. With the ability to use up to 8 channels on the DAQ device, the thermal characterization of our fixtures is quick and often complete within one thermal test experiment. Thanks!
