====== Installing a Terminal Emulator on Windows  ======

Open Tera Term's site ([[https://ttssh2.osdn.jp/index.html.en]]) in a new tab. Find the section of the page entitled "Download".  Select the "download page". Then select the newest version exe installer.

Find the installer in the folder that it was downloaded to, double-click on it, then select **Run**.

Select the components to be installed. For beginners select **Standard Installation**.

Choose the desired language and then left-click **Next**.
