You load and unload Vivado until you&#8217;re blue in the face, and everything seems in place, but you&#8217;re still not able to see the board.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Check USB cables, ports, whether or not cable was plugged upside down and in the correct header on board<\/li>\n<li>Check to see if your board is detected by the OS\n<ul>\n<li>In the Windows Device Manger, upon connecting the Basys 3 you should be able to a USB Serial Converter A and a USB Serial Converter B appear under the Universal Serial Bus controllers dropdown. Try going through the steps to <a href=\"https:\/\/linuxhint.com\/list-usb-devices-linux\/\">view a USB<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Your board should appear as a Digilent USB device<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, can download the Adept software and see if you board is visible. (windows use the GUI, Linux use Adept.exe DmgrEnum)<\/li>\n<li>Check to confirm that cable drivers are installed: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xilinx.com\/support\/answers\/59128.html\">https:\/\/www.xilinx.com\/support\/answers\/59128.html<\/a><\/li>\n<li>If EEPROM not found determined to have been overwritten by FT_PROG, post on a <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.digilent.com\">Forum<\/a> thread to get messaged an application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you&#8217;re\u00a0<em>still<\/em> not having your board recognized, it might be time to admit that it&#8217;s a dead board (We know! We don&#8217;t want it either!).
