User <a href=\"https:\/\/www.element14.com\/community\/people\/stevaras\">stevaras<\/a> was chosen to put our hulking <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/genesys-zu-zynq-ultrascale-mpsoc-development-board\/?utm_source=digilent%20blog&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=element14%20road%20test\">Genesys ZU UltraScale+ MPSoC<\/a> to the test. For this RoadTest Review, stevaras chose to test <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xilinx.com\/products\/design-tools\/embedded-software\/petalinux-sdk.html\">PetaLinux<\/a> programming along with bare metal programming by ultimately creating a live video stream.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning with receiving the box in the mail, the unboxing, install, and all the way to completing the live video stream, stevaras explores some of what this massively powerful board has to offer. In image detection and edge computing applications, it has more than enough processing power to smoothly complete the required tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s his conclusion:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Genesys ZU-3EG<\/strong>\u00a0is an advanced platform combining processing power and programmable logic in a SoC. The board is fully eligible for Edge Computing and Hardware Accelerated projects by offering hardware and software co-design features.
