Today we will try to make this a little more clear!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25615\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DD_-_Accessories_-_2x16_Cable_-_Close-up_-_600__53062.1484591987.1280.1280.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" data-wp-pid=\"25615\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DD_-_Accessories_-_2x16_Cable_-_Close-up_-_600__53062.1484591987.1280.1280.png 600w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DD_-_Accessories_-_2x16_Cable_-_Close-up_-_600__53062.1484591987.1280.1280-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/DD_-_Accessories_-_2x16_Cable_-_Close-up_-_600__53062.1484591987.1280.1280-300x300.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here are your connection options for the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/analog-discovery-2-100msps-usb-oscilloscope-logic-analyzer-and-variable-power-supply\/\">Analog Discovery 2:<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can use the flywires to connect to a breadboard <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/6-pin-header-gender-changer-5-pack\/\">gender changers,<\/a> or you can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/mini-grabber-test-clips-6-pack-for-use-with-analog-discovery-flywire\/\">mini-grabbers<\/a>\u00a0to grab onto components. This makes it simple and easy to connect to a breadboard. However, this approach is more prone to noise, and has lower bandwidth.<\/li>\n<li>You can also use the<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/bnc-adapter-for-analog-discovery\/\"> BNC Adapter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/bnc-oscilloscope-x1-x10-probes-pair\/\">BNC Oscilloscope probes<\/a> on the Oscilloscope channels, and the new <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/bnc-to-alligator-clip-cable\/\">BNC to Alligator clip probes<\/a> on the Waveform Generator Channels. This approach is going to be less prone to noise and have higher bandwidth with more secure connections.<\/li>\n<li>You can even use the<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/breadboard-breakout-for-analog-discovery\/\"> Breadboard Breakout<\/a> or<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/breadboard-adapter-for-analog-discovery\/\"> Breadboard Adapter<\/a> to connect directly to a breadboard. This way, you don&#8217;t have to fumble with cables or flywires, but keep in mind, breadboards are inherently noisy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/digital-discovery-portable-usb-logic-analyzer-and-digital-pattern-generator\/\">Digital Discovery:<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/2x16-flywires-signal-cable-assembly-for-the-digital-discovery\/\">flywires.<\/a> These are easy to use and a great choice for work involving sub 200MS\/s. However, they may cause noise above 200MS\/s depending on the signal.<\/li>\n<li>You can use the <a href=\"http:\/\/a\">High Speed Adapter<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/high-speed-logic-probes\/\"> Logic Probes.<\/a>\u00a0Taking this route reduces noise in sample rates up to 800MS\/s, but it can be cumbersome to connect all the grounds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/openscope-mz-open-source-all-in-one-instrumentation\/\">OpenScope MZ:<\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You can use the<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/2x15-flywires-signal-cable-assembly-for-the-openscope-mz\/\"> flywires<\/a>\u00a0to connect to breadboard<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/6-pin-header-gender-changer-5-pack\/\"> gender changers<\/a>, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/mini-grabber-test-clips-6-pack-for-use-with-analog-discovery-flywire\/\">mini-grabbers<\/a>\u00a0to grab onto components.
