There are a wealth of available resources out there for Digilent Instrumentation devices<\/a>, however, it can be a little overwhelming sometimes to figure out which are the relevant resources to allow you to make the best use of your device. Today, we will attempt to address this issue by providing a rundown of the available resources, and mapping out where one can go to fit specific needs.<\/p>\n

To start, simply scroll to the section of this post that pertains to you!<\/p>\n

Choosing an Instrumentation Device:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe you have reached a hangup in a project, or decided that your trusty multimeter is not quite cutting it anymore. In that case, you may be best advised to head over to our Instrumentation center<\/a>\u00a0and use the nifty selection guide to help decide which device is best for your needs.<\/p>\n

This guide outlines the prices, specifications, and lists the functions of each Digilent Instrumentation device. If you would like more information about the overall use of each option, please check out “Digilent Instrumentation: What is the Difference”<\/a> for a more in-depth look.<\/p>\n

If you already have a device in mind, or have been assigned something specific for a class, then go ahead and skip ahead to step two:<\/p>\n

Making Use of Your Device:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

So you have your device picked out and possibly even in hand- what now? Well, if you are waiting to receive your device but want to get a head start on some research, then head over to the wiki specific to your Instrumentation. You can get there by clicking on your purchase from the Instrumentation center.<\/a>\u00a0Once you have selected your device, you will see a page similar to this (we are using the Digital Discovery as an example).<\/p>\n

Another good resource to explore is the relevant posts on the blog.\u00a0<\/a>You can find these by typing the device name into the search bar on the top right.<\/p>\n

Once you have the device in hand, head back over to the wiki and click on the “Getting Started” button in the top right corner of the page. This will take you through the setup steps and make sure you have the proper software and settings configured. Once that is complete, feel free to explore tutorials and try out some example projects! You can find these by scrolling to the bottom of the wiki page.<\/p>\n
