{"id":24524,"date":"2018-06-08T10:19:48","date_gmt":"2018-06-08T17:19:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.digilentinc.com\/?p=24524"},"modified":"2021-06-09T14:46:44","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T21:46:44","slug":"add-impedance-analysis-to-the-analog-discovery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/add-impedance-analysis-to-the-analog-discovery\/","title":{"rendered":"Add Impedance Analysis to the Analog Discovery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the recent additions to <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/reference\/software\/waveforms\/waveforms-3\/start\">WaveForms<\/a> was the<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/the-impedance-analyzer\/\"> Impedance Analyzer Instrument.<\/a> This tool can be used on the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/analog-discovery-2-100msps-usb-oscilloscope-logic-analyzer-and-variable-power-supply\/\">Analog Discovery<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/electronics-explorer-all-in-one-usb-oscilloscope-multimeter-workstation\/\"> Electronics Explorer<\/a> test and measurement devices. The Impedance Analyzer Instrument is useful in analyzing capacitive and inductive elements. It uses Waveform Generator one, and both Oscilloscope channels, as well as a reference resistor for analysis.
