We received feedback after the Launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/breadboard-adapter-for-analog-discovery\/\">Breadboard Adapter for Analog Discovery<\/a>, that customers loved the ability to use the Analog Discovery without being confined to using the flywires, however, they wished that they could use a larger breadboard.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Direct-600-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-24210\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Direct-600-1-397x600.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"397\" height=\"600\" data-wp-pid=\"24210\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Direct-600-1-397x600.png 397w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Direct-600-1.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 397px) 100vw, 397px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At our workshop at ASEE we met a professor that was hand making a little breakout board for each and every one of his students each year, and wished there was a way that he could purchase them instead. From this, the Breadboard Breakout was born.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Cable-600-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-24209\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Cable-600-1-546x600.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"546\" height=\"600\" data-wp-pid=\"24209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Cable-600-1-546x600.png 546w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/AD2-Breadboard-Breakout-InUse-Cable-600-1.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although you can plug the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/analogdiscovery2\">Analog Discovery 2<\/a> into the Breadboard\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/breadboard-breakout-for-analog-discovery\/\">Breakout<\/a> directly or use the flywires, you can also add a Ribbon Cable in the event that you&#8217;d like more space between your project and the Analog Discovery. It may look similar, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/analog-discovery-2x15-ribbon-cable\/\">ribbon cable<\/a> is different than the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/analog-discovery-signal-cable-assembly-flywires\/\">flywires<\/a> that come with the Analog Discovery 2. Instead of each signal being broken out into a 1-pin female header, all 30 pins are together in a 2&#215;15 female header, making connection must faster.
