So to combat this, we<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.blog.digilentinc.com\/austin-stanton\/adding-nobs-to-the-analog-discovery-2-using-labview-e68f60\"> explored the possibility<\/a> of adding some using the<a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/pmod-enc-rotary-encoder\/\"> Pmod ENC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/labview-home-bundle\/\">LabVIEW<\/a>. The final result is pictured below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23193\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/just-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" data-wp-pid=\"23193\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This project is courtesy of Austin, and it utilizes the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/Adding-Knobs-to-the-Analog-Discovery-2-Using-LabVI\/\">Analog Scope and WaveGen\u00a0functionalities of the Analog Discovery 2 through LabVIEW. <\/a>This will allow you control the sample rate, base, range, and offset of both of your scopes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23194\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/cir-600x393.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"393\" data-wp-pid=\"23194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/cir.jpg 600w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/cir-214x140.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The goal of this project is to make the use of the <a href=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/shop\/analog-discovery-2-100msps-usb-oscilloscope-logic-analyzer-and-variable-power-supply\/\">Analog Discovery 2<\/a> even easier and more accessible than before. By adding a physical component, not only can you get that nostalgic feel back, but you can also exercise more control over the instrumentation.
