Thanks to an impressive Hackster project, the <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.blog.digilentinc.com\/45162\/mall-assistant-robot-2af7d9\">Mall Assistant Robot<\/a>, these capabilities are now within reach.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23108\" src=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/download_XCiJlldlR7-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" data-wp-pid=\"23108\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/download_XCiJlldlR7-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/digilent.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/download_XCiJlldlR7.jpg 693w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to its designers, the Mall Assistant Robot was developed with hospitality in mind.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We developed a mall assistant robot that redefines the landscape of the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<p>It is a Mall Assistant robot that was developed by the Kidobotikz community to be deployed as a customer assistant for various environments.<\/p>\n<p>It stands tall at 5 feet 5 inches and has an array of sensors dotting its structure. It employs an assortment of Ultrasonic sensors to gain a 360\u00b0 situational awareness. This helps it navigate through the spaces.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The bot uses the Analog Discovery 2 along with a variety of other hardware to achieve its goals of making customers feel welcome.
