You may have seen our post last week <\/a>with the names and Instructables<\/a> handles of our wonderful\u00a0project creators. The hope is that this will make it easier for anyone to find people and projects that they are inspired by.<\/p>\n

Today we continue our profiles with three more authors!<\/p>\n

Ella<\/strong>: Ella Rickerson<\/a><\/p>\n

Opposite Austin, Ella is our other LabVIEW <\/a>expert and a large percentage of her\u00a0projects focus on exploring the capabilities of the LabVIEW software.\u00a0Her projects include getting started tutorials<\/a>,\u00a0the\u00a0integration of physics and hardware (such as her Seismometer Exercise Box!<\/a>) and even office supply projectile launchers.<\/a><\/p>\n

“Using the Pmod ACL2, <\/a>the WF32<\/a> and LabVIEW <\/a>I made a simple exercise box that you jump on. It measures the quality of your landing, the time in-between each jump and the force of each landing.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ella has a background with LabVIEW from previous work experience, and enjoys the freedom and flexibility that the software allows. Coming from her scientific background, LabVIEW <\/a>is a natural fit for many of her projects.<\/p>\n

Jay<\/strong>: JayWeeks<\/a><\/p>\n

Perhaps known best for his Cardboard Robots series, Jay is an Instructables veteran. His high-quality photo style and helpful documentation have earned him the respect of both the Digilent and Instructables communities.<\/p>\n

Jay\u00a0has worked a lot with Pmods <\/a>and microcontrollers<\/a>, especially\u00a0his favorite board the chipKIT DP32<\/a>. His tutorials and projects are ideal\u00a0for makers of all skill levels, and are well organized and broken down by functionality so you can always find what you are looking for.<\/p>\n

Jay comes from a mechanical engineering background, and his expertise is reflected in many of the clever solutions he concocts for his various projects.\u00a0Whether you intend to create a line-following <\/a>sensor, or add a robot arm to your project<\/a>, Jay can help guide you through the necessary steps!<\/p>\n

Brandon<\/strong>: Bkallaher<\/a><\/p>\n

Brandon’s work involves a lot of FPGA’s,\u00a0specifically the Arty <\/a>and Basys 3.<\/a> His\u00a0talents have yielded some awesome improvements to projects like the Claw Game<\/a>, the creation of a Arty-Powered Vending<\/a> Machine, as well as the nickname “Digital Brandon”.<\/p>\n

His concise and technical documentation style is a favorite of many both on Instructables and here on the Digilent Blog. His work also includes contributing to the creation of\u00a0custom cores for Pmods,<\/a>\u00a0and projects with the Cmod A7<\/a>.<\/p>\n
