Use ZYBO to learn embedded software design through Hardent’s Embedded Design with PetaLinux Tools class.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The training is provided live by expert trainers, and a \u00a0ZYBO<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0is made available to each student in the course to assist embedded software developers in reducing time-to-market by using the latest technologies. The class\u00a0focuses on the practical aspects of embedded software design. \u00a0Each student\u00a0can either borrow or purchase the \u00a0ZYBO<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0from Hardent<\/a>.\u00a0In addition to the \u00a0ZYBO<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0development board, the\u00a0student\u00a0\u00a0receives a set of headphones and printed training material. Throughout the session, Hardent\u2019s<\/a> experienced trainers interact live with students to assist them with any questions they may have relating to the course or their current embedded design projects.<\/p>\n

What will you learn in the class?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The “Embedded Design with PetaLinux\u00a0<\/a>Tools<\/a>” course\u00a0<\/strong>introduces embedded Linux components, use of open-source components, environment configurations, network components, and debugging options for embedded Linux platforms. The \u00a0primary focus is on embedded Linux development in conjunction with the Xilinx tool flow. This course focuses on the Zynq -7000 All Programmable SoC architecture.<\/p>\n

After completing this comprehensive training, students\u00a0will have the necessary skills to:
\n\u25aa Explain what an embedded Linux kernel is
\n\u25aa Describe the Linux device driver architecture
\n\u25aa Create a PetaLinux project to configure and build an image using PetaLinux tools
\n\u25aa Create a working ARM Cortex-A9 MPcore Linux system using the Vivado Design Suite and PetaLinux tools
\n\u25aa List various hardware interfacing options available for the ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore
\n\u25aa Build custom hardware cores and device drivers using the user space I\/O (UIO) framework<\/p>\n
